The app for both Android and iOS contains all the information about tourist lookout towers and observation towers in Slovakia and the border region, which will be joined in the future by lookout towers in neighbouring countries. Just give the app access to your current location and you will see the nearest lookout towers in your area on the home screen. The app will show you the others on a map. You can also search for lookout towers by city, town or district name. If you can’t find your favourite lookout tower or observation tower in the app, just tap the “+” button and notify the app developers of the missing lookout tower by filling in the web form. It’s one thing to find a lookout, it’s another to get to it. Each lookout and observation tower in the app should include brief information on how to get to it, more specific route details, and basic information about the lookout itself. With these descriptions, you’ll quickly find out if it’s a good idea to take the kids to the lookout tower, and if you might accidentally be able to get to it using public transport.
