Salesforce is the number one SaaS (software-as-a-service) solution for customer relationship management (CRM), and Veeam’s new solution enables organizations to deploy backup environments in both on-premises and cloud environments and provide complete access to and control over Salesforce data and metadata.

The Veeam Salesforce Protection Trends Report 2022, conducted by an independent research agency on behalf of Veeam, was based on the opinions of 800 impartial IT executives and implementation experts from around the world. Among the risks Salesforce factored in were, for example, the possibility of incorrectly importing or retrieving data, but also those faced by other IT platforms: including non-compliance with recommended practices and regulatory mandates, cybersecurity issues, data storage corruption, or user- and application-induced errors.

Veeam is also releasing a free version of this solution – Veeam Backup for Salesforce Community Edition. The Community Edition provides a full-featured, free Salesforce backup and recovery solution for organizations with 50 or fewer Salesforce user licenses.
Veeam Backup for Salesforce is a standalone product that is a new extension of the Veeam platform. It is currently available from more than 35,000 technology partners and is sold as an annual subscription for one to five years for each user.
Veeam is now offering two annual introductory packages through 2023: for up to 300 users at a price of $2,000 and for unlimited users at a price of $10,000.
