Yes, you can say that we are repeating ourselves over and over again. But it’s important! As fascinating as it is to watch the rapidly changing technological trends, especially the massive developments in artificial intelligence, in the opposite vein, we are still fascinated by our inexperience, which is being exploited in a big way by attackers in cyberspace. <\/p>\n\n
In Slovakia, too, we regularly encounter cases of attack campaigns. People are deceived by fraudsters and lose their money or their company’s money. Phishing sites are indistinguishable from real ones, they are being created with increasing sophistication and are harder and harder to distinguish from genuine ones. <\/p>\n\n
That’s why it’s important that we bring information that shows different ways to protect yourself, your devices and your data in the online world. We need to be prepared for all possible scenarios, to learn how to recognise fraudulent emails and websites. To be vigilant when clicking on various links, and to be cautious when opening unknown attachments. We must not forget to regularly update our devices – mobile, laptop. We certainly don’t recommend using public wifi networks, and let’s not even discuss the fact that two-factor authentication is a ‘must have’. <\/p>\n\n
We are also returning to the topics discussed at the GAMO event at the end of March 2023.
